Why Sunday Brunch Buffet Dining is Becoming a Weekend Tradition
When it comes to weekends, Sunday brunch has become more than just a meal, it’s a tradition people look forward to all week. It’s the perfect…

Why wait until sunset to start celebrating Halloween?
This year, Halloween falls on a Saturday, and Galuppi’s is kicking off the fun bright and early with a Spooktacular Halloween Brunch made for families. Dress up the kids, grab your own costume if you’re feeling festive, and come hungry for a morning packed with food, music, treats, games, and plenty of ways to burn off some pre-trick-or-treating energy.
The outdoor Halloween brunch runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 31, which means you can make a whole morning of it without giving up your usual Halloween night traditions. Brunch and bounce in the morning, head home for a little downtime, and regroup before it’s time to grab the candy buckets and hit the neighborhood.
Here’s what families can expect from Halloween brunch at Galuppi’s.

There’s no reason those Halloween costumes should spend all day hanging in the closet.
Costumes are encouraged at Galuppi’s Spooktacular Halloween Brunch, so let the kids get dressed up as soon as they wake up. Superheroes can eat breakfast in their capes. Princesses can hit the dance floor. Dinosaurs can head straight for the bounce house. And if Mom and Dad want to get in on the costume action, even better.
Having everyone dressed up is part of what makes the morning feel more like a Halloween celebration than an ordinary family brunch. The costumes, decorations, music, and activities create a festive atmosphere where kids can get excited about the holiday long before the first porch light turns on that evening.
It also gives parents another opportunity to actually enjoy those costumes after spending who-knows-how-long choosing, ordering, assembling, or negotiating over them.
Halloween without treats? Not happening.
Kids can stop by the trick-or-treat station during brunch and get an early start on filling those candy reserves. There are more sweet treats to enjoy around the event, too, including cotton candy and snow cones.
Yes, that means Halloween treats before lunchtime. We’re pretty sure regular rules take the day off on October 31.
The morning also gives families a chance to take some Halloween photos while costumes are still intact. Because by the end of trick-or-treating, that carefully planned costume may be missing a hat, dragging a cape, covered in chocolate, or accessorized with a completely unrelated glow stick.
Get the pictures while you can!

If you’ve got kids who wake up on Halloween operating at approximately 300% of their normal excitement level, Galuppi’s has you covered.
The bounce house gives kids a place to jump, play, and put some of that energy to excellent use. Instead of asking them to sit quietly through a long meal when they’ve got costumes on and candy on the brain, the morning gives them plenty of opportunities to get up and have fun.
That makes the event easier for parents, too. Brunch doesn’t have to mean spending the whole meal negotiating over “three more bites” while a kid stares longingly at everything happening around them.
Families can settle into the morning, enjoy brunch, take activity breaks, and come back to the table when everyone’s ready.
Think the costume is finished? The face-painting station might have other ideas.
Kids can add some extra color to their Halloween look with face painting during the event. It’s a fun option for little ones who didn’t want a full costume, kids who believe every costume could use just one more detail, or anyone who simply spots the face paint and immediately decides they need it.
There’s also a craft table for kids who want to take a break from bouncing and dancing and get creative for a while.
With different activities happening throughout the morning, families don’t have to follow a rigid schedule. One kid can be ready to bounce while another wants to get their face painted. Someone will inevitably want another snack. That’s all part of it.

No Halloween party is complete without a soundtrack.
A live DJ will keep the party going with music and interactive dance games, giving kids another reason to get moving. One of the morning’s highlights is the monster freeze dance party, where everyone gets to show off their best spooky moves until the music stops.
Will there be dramatic freezing? Almost certainly.
Will at least one tiny monster continue dancing after everyone else has stopped? We wouldn’t bet against it.
The DJ activities help keep the morning lively without making parents responsible for providing the entertainment. You can cheer on the dance moves, take pictures, enjoy your brunch, and let someone else handle keeping the party going for a while.
That sounds like a Halloween treat for the grown-ups.
South Florida has one major advantage when Halloween rolls around: October mornings are made for getting outside.
The Spooktacular Halloween Brunch is an outdoor event, giving families room to enjoy the festivities, activities, music, and Halloween atmosphere together. Instead of spending the morning indoors waiting for evening plans to begin, you can get outside and turn the first half of the day into an event of its own.
And because this is Galuppi’s, brunch is still very much part of the equation.
Parents can enjoy the meal and atmosphere while the kids have plenty to keep them entertained nearby. It’s a combination that makes the morning feel special for the whole family, not just another kids’ activity parents are supervising from the sidelines.

Perhaps the biggest win for families is that Spooktacular Halloween Brunch doesn’t compete with Halloween night.
The event runs from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., leaving the afternoon open for whatever your family needs before round two begins. Head home for naps. Make costume repairs. Watch a Halloween movie. Carve one last pumpkin. Eat something that isn’t covered in sugar.
Then, when evening arrives, everyone can grab their candy buckets and head back out.
And if your kids typically spend Halloween morning asking, “How much longer until trick-or-treating?” having four hours of actual Halloween plans might make October 31 a whole lot more fun for everyone.
If a Saturday Halloween already feels like a reason to celebrate, you might as well make a full day of it.
Galuppi’s Spooktacular Halloween Brunch takes place outdoors on Saturday, October 31, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Spots are reserved with a deposit, so don’t wait until the costumes are on and the kids are asking what’s next to make your plans.
Visit the Spooktacular Halloween Brunch event page for tickets, reservation information, and the complete event rundown.
Get the costumes ready, bring your Halloween spirit, and come hungry. Galuppi’s is making sure the spooky fun starts well before sundown.
